It has good compatibility with resins such as PVC and polyvinyl acetate, low volatility, oil resistance, water resistance, and light resistance. It is widely used in PVC flooring, artificial leather, Chemicalbook cable materials, profiles, soft/hard pipes, heat shrink films, plasticizers, polyvinyl acetate adhesives, and synthetic rubber processing. It can also be used as a solvent and plasticizer for coatings and inks, replacing some ortho benzene plasticizers.
